WE BELIEVE

☝️

WE BELIEVE ☝️

1. The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and one in essence.

  • God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, holy, loving, and sovereign (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 90:2; 1 John 4:8).

  • God the Son, Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully man—conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died sacrificially for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and reigns forever (John 1:1, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

  • God the Holy Spirit is fully God, proceeding from the Father and the Son, who regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers for godly living and ministry (Titus 3:5; John 14:16-17).

2. Scripture

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and infallible Word of God, given to reveal His character, His redemptive plan, and His will for humanity. Scripture is the final standard for faith, conduct, doctrine, and ministry.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 — "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

3. Humanity & Sin

Humanity

We believe all people are created in the image of God, possessing inherent dignity, value, and purpose (Genesis 1:27). Every person reflects God's creative design and is called to relationship with Him (Colossians 1:16; Acts 17:26-27).

Sin & the Fall

We believe humanity is fallen through sin and separated from God. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," and "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 3:23, 6:23). We are incapable of saving ourselves through effort or morality. Our only hope is God's grace. Every person is in need of God's grace for restoration and new life.

4. Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, and not of ourselves (Romans 10:9–10; 1 Peter 1:3–5; Ephesians 2:8–9).

We place our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and for new life both now and for eternity. In Christ, believers are forgiven, reconciled to God, and adopted as His children.

Salvation calls for a response of repentance and faith. Repentance is turning away from our sinful ways, acknowledging our need for God, and choosing to follow His ways (Acts 3:19; 2 Corinthians 7:10). Faith is trusting in Jesus and submitting to His lordship, confessing with our mouths and believing in our hearts that He is Lord (Romans 10:9).

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within believers. The Holy Spirit regenerates, counsels, convicts, and empowers believers to follow Jesus and live a life pleasing to God (John 14:16–17; Titus 3:5).

Salvation begins a lifelong journey of discipleship, transformation, and obedience to Christ, as the Spirit continues His work in us (Philippians 1:6; 2 Corinthians 3:18).

5. The Christian Life

We believe followers of Jesus are called to live as salt and light in the world (Matthew 5:13-16): to be in the world but not of the world, to be set apart from the world and devoted to God (John 17:14-16). As a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9), believers are called to display Christ's character and develop a distinctly biblical worldview that shapes how we engage culture, relationships, and everyday life.

Christian Character & Fruit

We believe the Christian life is marked by the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—and by the pursuit of holiness, purity, integrity, honesty, justice, humility, compassion, generosity, and sacrificial love in all areas of life (Colossians 3:12-17; 1 Peter 1:15-16).

Christian Ethics & Conduct

We affirm the dignity and worth of every person, created in God's image, and reject all forms of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, or gender. In Christ, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, slave nor free, male nor female—all are one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).

We are committed to fostering communities marked by honor, accountability, ethical leadership, and the pursuit of justice—reflecting God's Kingdom values in how we treat others, steward resources, and engage the world around us.

6. The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ—the global family of all believers across time, cultures, generations, and denominations, united by faith in Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27). If you are a son or daughter of God through faith in Jesus, you are part of His Church.

We affirm the importance of Christian community—believers gathering together for worship, teaching, fellowship, communion, prayer, discipleship, and accountability (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25).

We believe followers of Jesus are called to pursue meaningful community with other believers, encouraging one another, bearing one another's burdens, and spurring each other on toward love and good deeds—whether in traditional gatherings, small groups, missional communities, or other expressions of the body of Christ.

7. Mission

We believe every follower of Jesus is called to mission—to share the gospel, make disciples, and demonstrate God's love through word and deed (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). The Great Commission to make disciples is fulfilled through the Great Commandment: loving God fully and loving our neighbor as ourselves.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). But how can people believe if they have never heard? And how can they hear unless someone goes to tell them? (Romans 10:14-15).

Jesus said, "When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself" (John 12:32), and we are His witnesses, proclaiming the good news that transforms lives.

We believe the mission field is where your feet are—whether on campus, in our workplaces, neighborhoods, or across nations. No one is too small or too great to hear the gospel; every person matters to God (John 3:16), and we are all called to participate in His mission—to GO, SEND, SERVE, and GIVE.

8. Baptism & Communion

We believe Jesus established two ongoing practices: Water Baptism as a public declaration of faith and identification with Christ's death and resurrection (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4), and Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice and celebration of the New Covenant (Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

9. Generosity & Stewardship

We believe God calls His people to be generous and faithful stewards of all He has entrusted to us. Each person should give what they have decided in their heart to give—not reluctantly or under compulsion—for God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7). Generosity flows from gratitude and joy, and reflects God's abundant grace toward us. Whether received or distributed, giving supports God's work, serves others, meets needs, and honors Him with our resources (Proverbs 3:9; Malachi 3:10).

10. Christ's Return & Eternal Hope

Christ's Return – We believe Jesus will return, bringing resurrection, renewal, and the restoration of all things: the resurrection of the dead, eternal life for believers, and God’s ultimate renewal of creation.

Jesus will return in glory to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal Kingdom (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 25:31-46). At His return, the dead will be raised—some to eternal life and others to judgment (John 5:28-29).

Believers will experience eternal life in God's presence, where He will dwell with His people in a restored creation. God will make all things new—a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells, where there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:1-4; 2 Peter 3:13).

Those who reject God's grace will remain eternally separated from Him. This sober reality underscores the urgency of the gospel and our mission to share the hope of Jesus.

This hope of Christ's return and the restoration of all things moves us to live faithfully today—pursuing holiness, advancing God's Kingdom, and eagerly anticipating the day when Jesus returns and God's reign is fully realized.
