Making lifelong disciples of Jesus who impact their
College, Careers, and Church
WE GO TO THEM
We bring ministry directly to students, in their Dorms, Greek Homes, Cultural Centers, and Athletic Facilities.
WE MEET THEIR NEEDS
By becoming “all things to all students,” we create specialized ministries and experiences for each student community.
WE EMPOWER TO LEAD
By equipping students in their faith, and empowering them to reach their peers, communities are transformed from the inside out.
Reaching the one so the one can reach the many
About OU Missions
-
The OU Missions Network operates as a parent organization for multiple college ministries on OU's campus, each designed to reach unique student groups with their own ministry experience, culture, and context.
"The Life College Ministry" launches Fall 2025 focused on reaching the general student body through campus outreach, student-led LifeGroups, and discipleship training and mentoring.
Our network approach allows us to create specialized ministries for different campus communities while maintaining unity and shared resources under one organizational structure.
-
The OU Missions Network is an independent religious nonprofit with its own board of directors providing oversight and governance. We are a non-denominational ministry and local missions network exclusively dedicated to reaching the University of Oklahoma.
LifeSpring Church in Norman, OK, serves as our "Home Church" partner, offering students church involvement and community.
-
OU Missions focuses on relational connections over recruitment. Students get involved through authentic friendships and outreach activities.
A typical week for involved students includes attending weekly LifeGroups in campus locations, participating in our worship experience "THE LIFE," and relational hangouts throughout the week.
Our emphasis is always on building meaningful relationships and creating authentic community. We meet students where they are on campus and spiritually in their journey.
-
At OU Missions, we recognize students as whole people with holistic needs, we care for their mental health, relationships, and life/career guidance. Our approach means student care always takes precedence over ministry agendas.
We prioritize mental health by creating safe spaces for authentic conversation and connecting students with appropriate resources when needed.
We provide academic and career development through peer mentoring, alumni connections, and vocational support.
Our holistic approach creates a foundation of well-being that enhances spiritual growth rather than compartmentalizing faith from daily experience.
